"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

I have been recently invited to a "sweaty, pink, hot, swiss cheese orgy" with you. While I'm "flattered," I must say that I must decline. You see, my species reproduces via explosions; we explode violently, sending spores everywhere, which then turn into human-like plant species. Having an orgy of the sweaty, pink, hot, swiss cheese variety would cause me to explode, but send out no spores, and you to die in a violent explosion, including other members of such an "orgy."
